📝 About Us
Bay Area Deaf Community (BADC) has served as the social and cultural heart of the Northern California Deaf community since 1982. We organize weekly coffee chats, monthly Deaf Night Out events, holiday celebrations, and community forums on issues affecting Deaf residents. Our volunteer-led board includes Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and CODA members from San Francisco, Oakland, and the South Bay. BADC also maintains a community directory of Deaf-friendly businesses and services and partners with local governments on ADA compliance and emergency preparedness for Deaf residents.
